What are cookies?

Purposes of processing, data categories, legal basis and required data.

Using technical cookies, the Data Controller aims to guarantee the full and correct display and accessibility of the content present on the Website on different types of computer devices and browsers (so-called technical cookies: browsing cookies; functional browsing cookies; first-party statistical cookies; or third-party statistical cookies when they do not relate to user identification information, etc.);

Only common data (e.g. name in the case of a registered user, IP for non-registered users) data will be processed for the stated purpose. In order to fulfil purpose a) the User's personal data is not processed and any information collected is in any case anonymous.

Processing methods and recipients

In order to fulfil the above-mentioned purpose, the Data Controller may appoint subjects from within its organisation who, subject to authorisation in accordance with current legislation, may process the personal information of Users on its behalf within the limits of the purposes indicated and the instructions provided.

Likewise, the Data Controller may wish to make recourse to external parties formally appointed under Article 28 of GDPR who are entrusted with carrying out the processing, or part thereof, on behalf of the Data Controller and according to its instructions. Where required by law or requested by judicial authorities, data may be transmitted to specifically authorised public or private entities.

Transfer of data to third countries

In order to fulfil the abovementioned purposes, the Data Controller may transfer some of the personal data of Users to countries outside the EU. When and if this occurs, the Data Controller performs this transfer ensuring high levels of security and meeting all obligations and guarantees required by personal data protection legislation.

Data storage

The storage times for data collected via cookies adhere with the principles of minimisation, necessity and relevance. More specifically, data is stored for the duration of the session and up to a maximum - depending on type - of one year. Longer storage periods may be necessary in the event of requests by authorities or the need for the Data Controller to defend its rights in court.

Rights of data subjects

In connection with the processing described above, you may exercise your rights under the GDPR ( Articles 15 to 22) at any time. In particular, you will be able to: i) access your personal data, obtaining evidence of the purposes pursued by the Data Controller, the categories of data involved, the recipients to whom the data may be communicated, the applicable storage period, the existence of automated decision-making processes, including profiling, and, at least in such cases, meaningful information on the logic used, as well as the importance and possible consequences for the data subject, where not already indicated in this Policy; ii) obtain without delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you iii) obtain, in the cases provided for by law, the erasure of the data; iv) obtain the limitation of the processing or object to the processing, when allowed under the provisions of the law applicable to the specific case; v) in the cases provided for by law, request the portability of the data that you have provided the Data Controller, i.e. to receive it in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and also to request the transfer of such data to another Data Controller, if technically feasible; vi) lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (see article 77) if you deem it appropriate.

In particular, data subjects are granted the following rights: Articles 15 - “Right of access by the data subject”, 16 - “Right to rectification”, 17 - “Right to erasure”, 18 - “Right to restriction of processing”, 19 - “Notification obligation regarding rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing”, 20 - “Right to data portability”, 21 - “Right to object”, 22 - “Automated individual decision-making, including profiling” of the GDPR within the limits and under the conditions provided for in Article 12 of the GDPR. As a general rule, please note that for the processing of personal data for which the legal basis is consent, the latter may be withdrawn.
