A descent into the heart of ancient Rome, where archaeology and contemporary art meet and the roots of the past are intertwined with the creativity of the present.
Discover FOROF, a project by Giovanna Caruso Fendi that promotes site-specific installations by contemporary artists in dialogue with the archaeological site of the Basilica Ulpia in the hypogeum of FOROF and in the area of the Forum of Trajan.

THE PARENTESI
FOROF
The FOROF occupies the spaces of the, Palazzo del Gallo di Roccagiovine in front of the Forum of Trajan, and preserves in the underground environments, in agreement with the Superintendence Archeological site of Rome, the archaeological site of the Basilica Ulpia, where installations site-specific are conceived by contemporary artists in close relation to the preexistences archaeological.
The path to excellence
Giovanna Caruso Fendi will introduce you to the FOROF project, telling you about the birth of the artistic-cultural startup while Chiara Cianni will share her experience as responsible for the Artistic Seasons. Paola Donatelli will explain why FOROF is a Benefit Society, whose aim is to create a positive and lasting social impact. Following, the view of the documentary film “Optimus Princeps”; by Andrea Purgatori, olfactory path (FOROF Essence) realized by Laura Bosetti Tonatto and guided tour of the exhibition, which will be will conclude with a standing dinner by RIMESSA Roscioli.
