THE PARENTESI

The itinerary

Starting from the restaurant/farm “Masseria Sei Carri”, illuminated by torches, the guests will reach the top of Castel del Monte. During the course, there are breaks for a focus on some typical plants of the park, including those considered magical. 10 kilometers in all, with a 70 meters difference in altitude: an experience for even the least trained walkers.

The Castle of mystery

Arrived near Castel del Monte in the company of a specialized guide, between a cup of hot tea and the notes of medieval music, guests will hear the story of two experts from the Universitry “Politecnico di Bari”, authors of a study on new theories related to function of the enigmatic building designed by Frederick II of Swabia.

Breakfast at dawn

At the end of the excursion, everyone will eat at the restaurant/farm “Masseria Sei Carri” with a rich breakfast based on typical products of the area.
